Fear

Yesterday was a scary day for our family and our town.  A threat was made on my kiddos schools.  My boys were completely clueless but an announcement was made at Bentley's school and she was scared.  She got in my car, hugged me, told me "I'm so glad I'm with you. I was so afraid." and started crying.  I then started crying and told her I was afraid too.

I later told her that we are not to be afraid.  This is what the devil and all those that are doing bad things want from Christians.  This morning she was scared to go to school.  I admit, for the first time ever, I'm afraid for my kids to go to school.  But, we can't be afraid.  The Lord is with us.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Spring Cleaning

I'm trying to get a jump start on my spring cleaning.  If I'm being honest, I've skipped probably the last 7 years (the twins will be 7 in August).  But now that they are in school I'm trying really hard to keep my house a little cleaner.

One of my all time favorite products from Young Living is Thieves Household Cleaner.  I use it on everything in my home, EVERYTHING!  It is the only cleaning product you will find!  It smells incredible and works so well!  And the best part, I don't have to worry about what's in it or if it will hurt my children!  It is safe enough for them to use and I don't have to rinse out the bathtub before they bathe in fear of what they will be bathing in!

Last week I worked in our master bath.  I took the globes off my light fixtures and used my Thieves Dish Soap to clean them!  I put a tiny amount in my kitchen sink along with a few drops of lemon and soaked them!  They were BAD!  A quick rinse and they looked brand new!

A quick intro...

Are you oily?  Um, what is "oily"?  You know, essential oils!  This blog will be about how my family uses essential oils and the products from our favorite oil company, Young Living!

Just a quick introduction...
My name is Tera.  I have been married for almost 18 years to my high school sweetheart, Justin.  We have a daughter that just turned 13!  Her name is Bentley and I know everyone thinks their kiddos are the best, but she really is!  She's smart, funny, strong, loving, this list goes on!  We also have twin boys, Wrigley & Boston, that are 6!  More to come on my hubby & kids at a later date!

We joined Young Living in June of 2014 and it has been one of the most fantastic journeys we have taken as a family!  I won't lie, I'm not great at blogging, I always get busy and forget to do it.  But I'm going to do my best with this one!  This will be a great place to come learn about day to day uses.  I look forward to sharing one of my greatest passions with you!
